Privacy Policy

Match Manager is an app that helps junior football clubs run match days, track fair play time, and communicate with families. It is operated by X Rai Studios, Melbourne, Australia ("we"). This policy explains what information the app stores and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address and password (passwords are stored in hashed form and are never visible to us).
• Club and team data — team names, fixtures, match events, scores and per-player playing time, entered by club staff.
• Player details — a child's first name and surname, jersey number, and optionally a date of birth and profile photo, entered by their club or their own parent/guardian.
• Messages and photos — what you post in your team's chat and gallery.
• Push notification tokens — so the app can notify you about games, messages and events.

How it is used

Only to run the service: showing your team its schedule, stats and messages. We do not sell data, we do not show ads, and we do not share personal information with third parties for marketing. Data is stored with our hosting provider (Supabase) on encrypted infrastructure.

Children

Match Manager accounts are for adults — coaches, club staff and parents/guardians. Children do not use the app themselves. Information about a child (name, number, playing time, photos) is entered and controlled by their club and their own parent/guardian. A parent only ever sees their own child's minutes and statistics, never other children's. Photo sharing is off by default and controlled by each club.

Access control

All data access is enforced on our servers: coaches see their team, parents see their own child, club managers see their club. Private coach notes are never visible to families.

Your choices

• Parents can unlink from a child at any time in the app.
• You can delete your account and its data — see Delete your account.
• Notification permissions can be changed in your device settings at any time.
